Need Help: Column Tools greyed out on Native field
Hello,
As the description indicates, I need help or guidance. In my PowerBI desktop app I am creating a reporting using a dataset from Fabric. One of the fields which is native to the data source (not a measure) that is being aggregated as a sum in a tabular report, is not allowing me to format the number to be an integer instead of a decimal point. The column tools tab is greyed out and I don't understand why. I have selected in the field within the data list on the right hand side of the screen, and tried selecting inside of the table, with no success.
Hello PowerBI_Chaos ,
because you're reading the data from a published dataset and using this power bi report for visualization only.
in order to do changes to the fields, you should download the report that has the dataset and make the changes then publish it again and refresh your current report.
check this to know about reading from a published power bi dataset https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/connect-data/desktop-report-lifecycle-datasets

Thank you, sir! I will look at making the change in the dataset instead, before it is pulled into the report through Fabric.
