Hi guys,
So my problem is: you know when you add a field in any view, and then you can click on the little arrow in the field and choose if you want to sum, count.... etc? This function is no longer appearing. The problem is that I need to create a lot of new measures to get a MAX of a field, or add like a count distinct of a ID in a card. 😞
This is happening for all fields, from all tables in a specific file. I have other reports in other files that are working fine. I already checked the settings and they are the same. Any ideas??????
my version is: 2.109.642.0 64-bit (September 2022)
I'm adding a string data to a table, and trying to do a distinct count for example....
pleaseeeeeeeeeee helpppppppppp
@bisartorelli easiest would be to remove it using TE (install TE2 which is free) and once CG is removed it will fix the issue.

@bisartorelli did you read my reply? Do you have a calculation group in your model, if yes, you cannot use implicit measures. So could you please confirm if you have CG in your model or not?

Hi parry2k,
Sorry, I have not seen it.
So, i search on what you said and seems to be something created by Tabular Editor.
And looks like I can only disable this in the tabular editor, but I installed the Tabular editor a few weeks ago, with a trial license. I uninstalled it later. Now, I'm facing this issue but I can't open the Tabular Editor again.
Do you know if it is possible to enable implicit measures or remove calculation groups without Tabular Editor?
but i don't want to create a measure ... i just want to use the native functionality like this:
same table, same field, different file.
@bisartorelli do you have calculation groups in the report, if you added a calculation group, then you can create implicit measure (the way you want to do it by dragging the column and change the aggregation)
