Narrative Panel Error Could not load file or assembly 'Microsoft.Caching.Redis, version=3.0.0.0'
I am loading data from an SQL Server view and on the Report View of Power Bi I have created some visuals and a narrative visual which the custom is selected. Before a month it was working correctly by providing me text which it was informing me about the highlights of my data. Now it is not working and shows me the below error:
Hi MichalisSpyrou -Reinstall or Update the Microsoft.Caching.Redis Library: Ensure that the required Microsoft.Caching.Redis version is installed. You can try reinstalling or updating the package through the NuGet Package Manager if you're managing this on the server.
Check for Updates to Custom Visual: If this issue started occurring after an update to Power BI or the custom visual, check if the visual has any recent updates or known issues related to Redis caching. Reinstalling or rolling back to a previous version of the visual may help.
Check System and Dependencies: Ensure that all necessary dependencies for Microsoft.Caching.Redis are correctly installed and up to date. This includes .NET Framework libraries or any other components that the Redis library depends on.
If this is a persistent issue after trying the above steps, and if Redis caching is essential to your report setup, contacting Microsoft support or raising an issue on the Power BI Community forum
