Nailing down nodes in a force directed graph?

Hi everyone,   I love the Force Directed Graph visualization, but is there a way to manually nail down where each node will sit (as in the ZoomCharts Network Chart), instead of relying on the charg...

AriZadok,

Unfortunately,  it is not possible to manually nail down each node in Force Directly Graph. We are only able to change the charge to make the determnination. Also I can found no custom visual that provides same functionality as force directly graph.

Thanks for your reply.  I suspected this was not doable with the visualizations as they are currently designed.

 

Would it be possible to edit the code to create my own custom visualization, so that it will do what I want it to do?  If yes, then what coding language should I learn in order to do this, and how would I go about it?
