Hi Everyone ,
Here i have a question for the new customers and repeat customers by date.
Suppose if the customer has login first time he belongs in New Customer and if the Customer has repeated again he comes in Repeated Customers.
here is the screenshot :
here in above pic Count of New Users : 6
Count of Repeated Users : 9
i need this new and repeated users using dax .
Suppose if I select the date from 01-01-2018 to 10-01-2018 :
Output : New Customer= 5 and Repeated Customer= 5
Actually i tried with New & Returning Customers from link below,
http://community.powerbi.com/t5/Quick-Measures-Gallery/New-and-Returning-Customers/td-p/168297
but i am not getting the proper result from above link.
i need count of new customers and repeated customers for the selected date.
Hope will get the solution soon.
Thanks
sandeep
Solved! Go to Solution.
You could use this calculated column
New customer = VAR mycount = CALCULATE ( COUNTROWS ( Table1 ), FILTER ( ALLEXCEPT ( Table1, Table1[cust id] ), Table1[Date] < EARLIER ( Table1[Date] ) ) ) RETURN IF ( mycount = 0, "Yes" )
and this one for repeat customers
Repeat customer = VAR mycount = CALCULATE ( COUNTROWS ( Table1 ), FILTER ( ALLEXCEPT ( Table1, Table1[cust id] ), Table1[Date] < EARLIER ( Table1[Date] ) ) ) RETURN IF ( mycount > 0, "Yes" )
@Zubair_Muhammad how do i calculate the distinct count for 1st time/recurring
