Spoiler

Boa tarde.

Hey guys

I found this workaround. I searched on several websites and did not find a solution to this problem with displaying images in Power BI on any of them. I carried out several tests until I found this solution.

Using the website imgur.com I was able to import images into my account and generate a compatible link to correct the problem I was facing.

1 - Copy the link in the box above, example:

2 - After copying, delete "" from the link, example: https://i.imgur.com/5umX4Mg.png

This way it is possible to use images within Power BI.

Hi Guys,

I managed to solve the image problem in another way.

Through the website https://imgur.com/ it is possible to import the images, the site creates links with endings (.png, .jpeg, etc.) and you can use them to apply within Power BI. This way it worked really well for me.

This issue in Power BI occurs due to generated links that do not follow a pattern. To work, the link must have the image format at the end, such as “.png” or another format recognized as an image.

While Microsoft could solve this problem, with its size it wouldn't be difficult to adjust.

If anyone has difficulty completing this process, I will be available to help.

Do you have a step-by-step of this solution available? Or were you able to find a workaround?

Does not load images into Power BI.

I'm having trouble displaying images in Power BI. The new view available in the “Imagem Simples” store does not load images with generated links or any other type of view.

I created a Google spreadsheet with some records of internal collaborators and applied each person's profile images to “Google Drive”. I'm using the link "ttps://drive.google.com/uc?id=" along with the code for each image, example: "https://drive.google.com/uc?id=1-KGB4n7qXDcJ7GlJaLdA7Z2oJiroFLN_ ".

This template was used in each row of the spreadsheet so that the images are displayed independently. Even applying the “Data Category” as “URL Image” the profile photos are not displayed and all types of views are blank.

Is there any internal Power BI configuration that must be done before applying the images or any process that can fix this?

Hi @RogerEliezer

Based on the information you've now provided, here are my suggestions:

 • Check if the URL of the image is valid and accessible. You can try re-entering the URL to see if the image loads properly.
 • Check that the image format meets the following file formats: .bmp, .jpg, .jpeg, .gif, .png, or .svg
 • If you are using an image that was taken from a website that requires a login, there will be a problem with the display of the image

You can check the following document for more information:

Display images in a table, matrix, or slicer in a report - Power BI | Microsoft Learn

If the problem still exists, to better help you, I'll need more information. For example,

 • Whether the image you added was displayed correctly before.
 • Did you receive any error messages? If so, can you provide the exact text of the message?

Best Regards,
Yulia Xu

Boa noite!

exemplo: https://drive.google.com/uc?id=1-KGB4n7qXDcJ7GlJaLdA7Z2oJiroFLN_
