Multiple x-axis fields as different lines
All, Wasn't sure of the correct terminology to explain the query I have, but here goes:
I'm trying to chart the amount of 'Warnings' a series of 'Project Numbers' have over a range of dates in a line chart. Each Project Number should be shown as a seperate line. I can do this with a heirarchical X-Axis, but the Project Numbers show side by side, which doesn't make for very good comparison between the Warnings for each Project:
Is there a way I can show these lines on one continous x-axis for date, but show seperate lines for each Project Number? If I remove project number from the Axis Fields, the different projects simply aggregate into one line, which sums the amount of warnings from each. The Fields are as below:
Any help much appreciated.
Hi Anonymous,
According to your description, using a Line Chart(with Date on Axis, Project Number on Legend, and Warnings on Values field) should meet your requirements. (Note: Make sure you have set "Do Not Summarize" for the Default Summarization of the "Project Number" column under Modeling tab.):smileyhappy:
