Multiple users opened same pbix file in desktop with same filters selected or deselected

Multiple users have open the same saved pbix file from a SharePoint folder; however, some of the filters on the visuals of one the pages does not hold or show the selection checked to be able to see the specific due date per the course. This was set up in the recently updated filters pane.

Has anyone else experienced this issue of where a filter on the visual had a box checked for a field in the desktop, but when a few others opened the same file from their computer the checked box from that same field is no longer selected?

Already ruled out a few guesses (desktop versions, locked/unlocked filter, show/unshow filter, etc.), not sure if it's a glitch in the desktop version or some random settings differences for the individual's computers. Sometimes the pbix files saved on Sharepoint sites takes a little longer to upload fully, especially with heavy files. Ensure that the users download the latest version from the share point site.

Also, if the data sources are refreshed when the users open the pbix file on their systems, ensure all users have same access to the underlying data sources.
