  • Hi Piet

That's should be easy if you could create a relationship between the two tables.

Have you solved the problem with the answers from quentin_vigne and alexei7?

If you have solved, only thing that you'll have to notice, just always accept the replies making sense as solution to your question so that people who may have the same question can get the solution directly.

If you still need help, please feel free to ask.

  • Hi Piet

If there is a joint between your 2 tables the formula will be :

    Cost-gross = table1[cost] * table2[sales_quantity]

    Hi Piet,

Yes this should be quite simple. If in the relationships view of Power BI desktop you check that table1 is joined to table2.

Then you can create your formula ("cost * sales_quantity").

When you create your table make sure you bring in the "item" field from table1.

    Thanks

    Alex
