Multiple line graphs with different different columns for the x-axis

Hi. I want to make a duration curve graph. The graph should contain multiple lines that shows different spot prices on the y- axis. The different prices have different index values witch should be shown on the x-axis. I cannot put all columns with different prices with corresponding index values in the same graph as they will not match each other. Its not like when you have dates that would be similar for all the prices. Some of the data with spot prices with their indexes values are shown under. I want it to be shown in one graph with index values 0-8760 for all the prices on the x-axis.

    Hi LFM ,

     

    According to your statement, I think your requirement is to show a line chart for different SPOT columns based on their Index columns.

    Here I suggest you to add a DimIndex table to help calculation.

    DimIndex = GENERATESERIES(0,8760,1)

    Due to there could only be one active relationships between two tables, you can try to create multiple inactive relationships and use USERELATIOHIPS() function in measure.

    Measures:

    M_SPOT = CALCULATE(SUM('Table'[SPOT]),USERELATIONSHIP('Table'[Index spot],DimIndex[Index]))
    M_SPOTNO1 = CALCULATE(SUM('Table'[SPOTNO1]),USERELATIONSHIP('Table'[Index SPOTNO1],DimIndex[Index]))

    Result is as below.

  • LFM sorry I'm having hard time understanding your requirement, could you put it in excel and explain it what you are looking for, and share that file using onedrive/google drive.
