Multiple Sharepoint Lists - 1 PowerBI report

Hello.

Has anyone had a scenario where more than one sharepoint list, with the same structure, has been used to pull through to one one view of data? If so, whats the best way to acheive this? And can it be edited to add new lists when created?

  • Hi LYeo87

I have done something similar like this:

    1. Connect to SharePoint Online List
    2. Delete the Navigation step from Applied Steps
    3. Apply a filter to the Title column (this assumes all lists have similar names)
Use Choose Columns to get rid of all the columns except Title and Items
    4. Expand the Items choose the list columns to keep
    5. Profit

If this helps please mark as a solution for others to find πŸ™‚
