Multiple Database Connection in paginated reports

I have two two databases one is A and other is B. I want know if iwe can combine the databases in paginated reports like power bi, please help me and Which was is better for Dataset creation in paginated reports - via SQL Query or from Power BI Datasets?

    Anonymous , the Power bi dataset can work here, as you can combine two sources in power bi use them in a paginated report You have data modeling complications handled in power bi

      we tried this option working fine is their any draw back when we are calling power bi dataset in power bi report buider and publish the report from report builder to service.please let us know
