Hi, I have an MS form that has multiple-multiple choice questions - this then results in a data set with 1 column per question and multiple data points in each cell.
I am having difficulty finding a solution to handle this data for visualization. I have tried the split by deliminter and unpivot, but with 4 multiple choice questions this beocmes difficult. I am wondering if a DAX solution would be better?
Example data
ResponseID | Fruit | Meal |
1 | Apples; Banana | Pizza;Lasagne |
2 | Oranges;Apples | Lasagne; Fish;Spaghetti |
Example Visualisation - bar graph with fruit on x axis and meal count on th y axis
Syntax : something like for each unique ID (Count Distinct Meal for each distinct fruit)
Thank you
you need to split the text in power query, not in DAX. in power query it will be easier
