Multiple Banding - one table

This could be a redundant question, i am just questioning if there is a better way to do this.

I have one banding table, which i want to link to multiple calculated columns in one table, just for simplicity and standardization.  However, that probably doesn't make sense as when you place the banding on a visual, which calculated column is it referring to?  Een if it has more than one relationship (active and inactive), which one is it pointing to?   Is creating the  descriptive text banding on each calculated column the best way to do this or is there another more elegant solution?  What i like about the banding table is that i can create a sort order easily without having to create 2 banding columns for each scenario.

hope that makes sense.  TIA

I'm not sure I can understand this totally. Smiley LOL

What do you mean about "link to multiple calculated columns in one table"? Could you be more precisely with it using some samples or figures?Smiley Happy

Regards

1.i have multiple calculated columns in a table which link up to a table called banding to show the banding

2. i have another table calleding banding 2 which i want to connect via a relationship to these multiple columns

i could handle all the banding for these columns in a switch statement.   however i am wondering if there is a way to link one table to multiple calculated columns in a table - sort of like inactive relationships with measures but this is with columns.
