Multi Tier Slicers and controlling visualisations
Firstly - Hello. I am new and this is my first post so I will do my best not to make a terrible job of my first interation.
I am hoping someone can help me with a current challenge I have.
I have a slicer that is based on a 3 tier heirarchy: Head OF > CPM > PL
There is an additional level of data which is individual patrols but for this metric its not included - I just wanted to mention it. the data table has 4 columns
Patrol
PL
CPM
Head OF
Currently I have 100% stacked column chart that shows data at the PL level. So when selecting a Head Of it shows all of the assocaiated PLs which can sometimes result in 100+ rows. What I am trying to achieve is to have the stacked chart to work on a next level view so When selecting Head Of from the slicer it automatically shows data for the CPM level and when CPM is selected in the slicer it automatically shows PL level data.
I am showing the % split between complete and overdue which I have called 'status'
I currently have this for the visual control:
Axis - PL
Legend - Status
Value - Status (count)
The data is text so I am unable to convert to number to use the percentage function in the values.
Unfortuately the option for 2 charts is not a favoured one by the project leaders so I'm trying to find a solution with one chart.
It's sensitive data so I'm limited with what I can send a visual support. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Have you tried Drill down? In your case, maybe you can put all the columns in Axis like the screenshot.
Or plases share some sample data and expect result.
Pbix in the end you can refer.

One chart to show the next level data.
Have you tried Drill down? In your case, maybe you can put all the columns in Axis like the screenshot.
Or plases share some sample data and expect result.
Pbix in the end you can refer.
