Move or Copy a page in a PBIX file to another PBIX file

Hello Power BI Community,

Is it possible to move or copy one or more pages in a PBIX file to another PBIX file? I know this is possible with Microsoft Excel but I have not seen a feasible solution to achieve this with Power BI.

Has anyone tried this before? If yes, kindly check a workaround to achieve it.

Hi @Oluwapelumi 

There is no straightforward solution for this in Power BI, but you can achieve it with a workaround. Please follow the steps below:

1. Open a new Power BI Desktop file.
2. Connect to the data sources used in your existing PBIX file and pull all the necessary tables.
3. Replicate the same DAX calculations that are in your existing PBIX file.
4. Copy all the elements on the page of your existing PBIX file one by one and paste them into your new PBIX file.

If you follow the above steps, you should be able to successfully copy and paste from one PBIX file to another.
