Hey,
in the Query Editor
- mark Column1
- from the context menu choose Fill -> up
- mark Colum2
- from the filter menu in column heacher chooe Remove empty

I was thinking along those lines but Fill up doesn't work on my dataset, The Blank looks blank but Fillup doesn't fill it up.
