Monthly Total (Not Running Total)

Hello,

 

I am having a problem creating the correct measure.  I have seen reports that show a monthly total that is bolded as a row, but I cannot create this on my report. Most of the formulas I have found are 

for a running total, and I don't need a running total as each month's data is independent.  What I need is the total per month in its own row.  I have attached an example of what I have and example of what I want.

    Hi Anonymous,

     

    In order to achieve what you want you need to use the matrix visual and no the simple table visual.

     

    If you need to have a table layout on the matrix you need to drill down to the lowest point of the matrix.

     

    Please check this post where I show how to make use of the drill down in order to appear as table mode.

      Thank you for the response MFelix, unfortuantely I had to move to another project so this one is on hold for now.  When I pick this back up I will be able to test out your solution.
