AnaAlbano , for end of the month you can use closingbalancemonth with help from date table 

or try lastnonblankvalue and  firstnonblankvalue

 

example

calculate( lastnonblankvalue('Date'[Date], Sum(Table[Headcount])) + firstnonblankvalue('Date'[Date], Sum(Table[Headcount])) , allexpect(Table, Table[Month Year]))/2
