in the below screenshot I want to sort coloum by financial year.

You can create a column chart and a slicer with month name field ,then sort the month name with the fiscal year number field.

Your Date column is not a Date type. It's a text type.
I will explain what I have done.
I have a date column which I using Dax format & convert into "MMM YYYY"
After that change the format from Text to Date like below screen shot.
Is there any junky or blank value in that Date column? can you share sample of that original date column?
