Hi,
I have Month slicer on Power BI dashboard contains Jan, feb.,,, Dec that kind of data. I want to restrict selection of month one at a time i.e user can select only one month from slicer and data for that one month will populate on dashboar. How can I achieve this?
Solved! Go to Solution.
@Shraddhay123 , you can configure the slicer to be a single-select slicer.
Select the Slicer: Click on the slicer visual that you want to configure.
Open the Format Pane: With the slicer selected, go to the "Format" pane. This is usually found on the right side of the Power BI interface.
Configure the Slicer Settings:
In the "Format" pane, look for the "Selection controls" section.
Toggle the "Single select" option to "On". This will restrict the slicer to allow only one selection at a time.

I am new to Power BI and trying to build Resource allocation using a free Gantt chart. I have Excel file with data like:
Project name, emp name, month, and allocated hours to that employee for a specific project in a specific month. Now the issue I am facing is I have 2 employees assigned to one project in Feb month and in Gantt chart this entry is overlapping.
If anyone has any solution for this, it will be helpful. I only want to use free charts or visuals here.
you can try to turn on the single select
