Hi All
I have a data set that doesnt seem to fit easily into a star schema and would appreciate any best practice advice please. Reporting needs to be done at all levels - i.e. Employees with certain skills, clients with projects, employees on projects etc
Don't fret if you have multiple fact tables. That happens a lot in real life. As long as you don't try to connect them directly you will be fine.
Your data model must follow your business problem scenario. If it does then it is good, even if it is not a perfect star/snowflake.
