Hi everyone,
i'm trying to create a measure for a Growth Year To Date shown month by month
Here is a screenshot of what i have in excel.
I have 2022 sales and 2023 sales.
The Growth YTD is calculated month by month.
January calculation is (2023 Sales - 2022 Sales) / 2022 Sales
February calculation is (2023 Sales - 2022 Sales) / 2022 Sales
So basicly, i take total sales to date and calculate the growth for the years sales up to the month i'm in.
The measure i created in DAX doesn't work
I created 1 measure for my Total Sales
I created another for my previous years sales
And finally i created this to recreate the same formula i have in Excel. But the results don't work.
I'm really stuck.
Help would be greatly appreciated.
