Hi,
Forgive the stupid question, but I feel I have wasted too much time trying to solve something that should be straight forward. I am attempting to apply conditional formatting to clustered bar chart colours, based on a filter selection. All the solutions I have found point to applying rules in the 'fx' option next to the colour dropdown for that particular series.
However, I cannot seem to find that next to my colour drop down. It's just a drop down to select a colour for that series with no additional options to apply conditional formatting (Please find screenshot below):
I feel like I'm missing something very obvious and apologies if so, but any help would be greatly appreciated.
Best wishes,
Luke

Hello @lgoggs ,
yes when it's more than one values in the value field it won't show as well.
if you try to have one field in the value section then it will show.

Hello,
Try to remove the legend from the graph. You should be able to see the fx for color
Thank you @Idrissshatila, I did wonder this myself, but when I select 'All', I get even less options (As shown below):
I do wonder is it the way I've got my data setup? It's essentially a text category on the y-axis then 3 series of number values on the x-axis.
Best wishes,
Luke

Thank you @Idrissshatila ! That seems to have sorted it. It looks as though because I had 3 data points added to the x-axis it was not allowing me to apply any conditioning formatting on the colour. I've removed and just had one and it's now providing the option.
The challenge is I do need all 3 data points on the same chart to change colour based on a filter selection. I will explore potentially doing this by creating a 'Measure' might hopefully work.
Thank you again!
Best wishes,
Luke
Hello @lgoggs ,
the fx only shows when you're showing All categories not when selecting a specific category as in your case you selected 2023.
