Missing formatting for certain charts

HI.

I am using PBI v2.141.

I created a visual some time ago in a previous version. Now I am attempting to edit the same visual on the new 2.141. However, I don't see the same formating options. For example, my stacked column chart clearly shows 2 colors but I don't see where I can modify those 2 colors as I did in the past. I also have the same issue with a donut chart I created in the same report. I do have the formatting pane, just missing the options to change the colors. Any thoughts on why some formatting is missing? I don't have conditional formatting before you ask. Thanks

Hi @FOXYBARK

You're right that the formatting options look more limited at first, but nothing has actually changed in how colors are edited between versions. You just need to expand the "Columns" section in the formatting pane and then expand "Colors" to manually adjust the colors.

If you don’t want to manually change the color for each year, you can use Conditional Formatting based on "Type" or "Value" to apply a rule-based coloring scheme.
