Hi all,
I missing a lot of features in the report view like Trend lines, forecasts, and other features from the report view.
Regarding Trend lines, for example, I've checked all the necessary requirements (like date data type and X-axis continuous).
*I tried to enable all the preview features in the settings and nothing changed regarding my issue.
I downloaded the last version from Microsoft's website. Here is a screenshot of my PB desktop version:
Thanks,
Hen.
Hi @hendanin123 ,
As @some_bih said, the ability to use dynamic guides depends on the type of visual used. If you have time data, the following visuals can use trend lines: Area, Clustered Column, Line, Line and Clustered Column, Scatter. For detailed information, please refer to the document: Use the Analytics pane in Power BI Desktop - Power BI | Microsoft Learn.
You can open the attached pbix file on your computer to check whether the visual object is the same as shown in the picture below. If it is different, please provide more relevant information to better help you solve the problem.
If your Current Period does not refer to this, please clarify in a follow-up reply.
Best Regards,
Clara Gong

Proud to be a Super User!
I had to change the x-axis to just date (heirarchy did not work). Doesn't seem to be working as expected
