Missing Dropdown Option in Slicer

Hi everyone, 

 

I'm trying to created dropdown slicer but the option is missing from the menu (Slicer Setting menu seems to have only 4 options - Single select, Force Select, Show 'Select All' Option & Restric to leaf notes). 
No mention of dropdown. 

My version of Power BI offers 3 types of slicers: text, list & button. 

Any advice would be appreciated.

    Hi neplecha 

    The dropdown option isn't available in the new slicers but in the old one.

    You're using the new slicer visual in Power BI. The Dropdown option is now found in the Format pane:

    Format pane → Slicer settings → Options → Style → Dropdown

      that's not it, I was using list slicer not knowing that the original slicer is also in options. Text slicer does not have the options you're describing. Once I found the old slicer the menu was included.
