Mismatch Date type SSAS Tabular vs Power BI

Hi all,

I have a data model designed with Microsoft Tabular and I use it as a source for my report.

Inside the model I have a table with dates and they are in Date format (type forced by design during the import phase from Excel into Tabular).

When I open this table in Power BI I found a mismatch: type is automatically switched by Power BI from Date to DateTime (I can't modify it cause it's imported from Tabular project).

When I use this field on my report I have date in format dd/mm/yyyy 00:00:00.

We have a gateway between server where Tabular is deployed and our Power BI cloud.

Any suggestion/solution?
