Resolver IIMigrating Tableau Report to Power BI report
Hello Community,
We are currently using Tableau for reporting and business decision-making, but now we are planning to move to Power BI as our reporting tool, we have 100+ tableau report and converting each one manually is very time-consuming.
We are exploring whether there are any tools available in the market that can help migrate Tableau reports to Power BI reports in a more automated way, So far, I’ve found lots of documentation, roadmaps, and best practices.
When I look for an automated way Google shows me there are tools that automate. Curious who has used one of them to migrate tableau report to Power BI to speed things up?

we faced same problem some time ago and after searching I discovered that there is actually several tools in the market that provides this functionality I was honestly surprised to see something like this already out there in the market. There was nothing I know of 1 or 2 a year or 2 ago. I found one product and met with the team and they gave me access to run my migration for my feedback and I got what I needed. In my case, the migration itself took around 8-10 minutes, and I spent another day reviewing to make sure everything was in place. You can find more details about this tool over here. The last step to automate validating the data is now the step I am searching for and wanted to share a good experience because I enjoyed working with them. Curious... has anyone else tried this tool or something similar for Tableau-to-Power BI migration but that can handle the data validation?"

We should be prepared to see what was "not in place"
Nothing major... I just wanted to be extra careful and also wanted to make some improvements to improve to the reports.

The short answer is there is no magic "one click" tool that will perfectly convert a Tableau workbook (.twb/.twbx) into a Power BI file (.pbix) and deliver a production ready report.
Any tool claiming automation is likely oversimplifying the process cause the architectures of Tableau and Power BI are fundamentally different especially in how they handle data models and calculations and visualizations.
You can read about PowerBI Companion tool (It can help you)...even you find a way to automate the process it wont be Perfect 100%
