Might be a bug

If I'm in PBi desktop and try to publish my report to a group that already has that report in PBi online, when i click in replace, PBi desktop automatically signs out and I can't complete my 'publish' action.

Hi @gonrodrigues,

Based on my test, we are able to republish the report to Power BI service and account will not sign out automatically during publish process. In your scenario, please install the latest Power BI Desktop version to see if issue persists.

Also please use Get Data in Power BI to connect to and upload a Power BI Desktop file to see if you are able to publish report file.

In addition, republish report from desktop will cause many things. Please refer to this article: Publish from Power BI Desktop.

If you have any question, please feel free to ask.

Best Regards,
Qiuyun Yu
