Microsoft sql: the target principal name is incorrect. Cannot generate sspi context.

Hi,

I have problem with connecting Power BI Desktop to SQL Server Management Studio from "Get Data". 

 

System gives error message: Microsoft sql: the target principal name is incorrect. Cannot generate sspi context.

The server information is correct, etc. What could be done about it? How to make this work?

    hey Anonymous ,

    what to you mean by "connecting Power BI Desktop to SQL Server Management Studio "? also the screenshot shows your are trying to connect to Azure SQL DB, did you try to connect SQL Server Management Studio to Azure SQL DB with the same credentials to check if the connection works?
