Microsoft Power BI App vs. Power Bi Desktop

Do I understand this correctly?

Microsoft Power BI App is a Power BI viewer while Power BI Desktop is what you use to create?

Also, Power BI Online is showing that I am a PRO User, I don't see anything in Power BI Desktop, and the Microsoft Power BI App says I am a PRO Trial User. I have a paid subscription, not a trial subscription. Does anyone know why this might be?

Hi @nstanosh ,

Power BI Desktop is a free application you can install on your local computer that lets you connect to, transform, and visualize your data. You can refer to the online document.

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/desktop-what-is-desktop

As you said, "the Microsoft Power BI App says I am a PRO Trial User." Could you please share the screen shot of that?

@v-frfei-msft If it shows I have a license, but is still showing Trial version in the "Microsoft Power BI" App, how do I fix this?
