Microsoft Gantt Chart not displaying anything

I opened the sample file for gantt v3.0.12.0 and this is what gets displayed. No display of the chart

When I select the visual, the fields only shows 'Values' and not the typical Legend, Task, Duration, Start Date, etc.

Is there a setting that I am missing? I already tried to uninstall/re-install power bi and no luck.

Please help! Any help you can provide is much appreciated!

The problem is still occurring when I try to aggregate the tasks. If this option is on, all the info disappears, and when I turn it off the info comes back. Is there a solution for it?

Hi all,

The problem has been reported to the related team. Now the fix has been deployed, it will take about 12 hours for it to take effect. It will also require you to restart Power BI Desktop a couple times. Any comment or problem, please feel free to let me know.

I want to jump in here and say I am experiencing virtually the same issue with all non-stock visuals. All of my custom visuals from the store are broken, even official Microsoft ones. When trying to add data, it won't take or if it does, the field is shown as blank. Sometimes the adding of data fails and creates a new table visual instead.

I think this issue has to due with the Power BI July update. I just updated it this morning via the Microsoft Store accidentally and it has broken every report I have. Trying to add non-stock visuals, even after they are removed and added again, updated, added manually, they do not work. 

If I recall the Gantt chart is an official Microsoft Visual but not a stock one. Same goes for Timeline, which is one of my broken visuals.

I don't have answers for you but my whole day has been wasted trying to find other people with the same issue and it looks like we are in the same boat. I am about to ask IT to roll back the update if possible.

Just want to echo my same experience. All custom visuals are now showing blank without formatting options and no ability to drop values into fields in either existing or new reports.
