Microsoft Fabric- Calculation Group (New data Column) option not available

Hi All,
I am trying to create a calculation group in data warehouse via microsoft fabric. For that I have created a sementic model and then within the sementic model I have created a calculation group. Now I want to add a new column in the calculation group and the option is not available. 

The same I have tried by connecting to data warehouse via Power BI desktop. But there as well the option is greyed out. 
Similar is the case with tabular editor. If we create a new column from there, the expression Editor is not available.

Any leads to resolve this would be appriciated.

Hi  @INAC ,

According to our research, it is possible that the calculation group does not support adding a new column, you can try to follow the video below to create a measure to emulate the functionality of the new column to fulfill some of your needs.
