Hi,
I started discovering the Microsoft 365 usage analytics app in Power BI. I need to analyse the usage of a certain product / license (Project Plan 3 in this case). We have assigned lots of licenses to users and our IT lead wants me to find out who is actually using their license on a regular basis (or to be more precise: who is actually using the product).
I have downloaded the .pbix-file of the usage analytics report. I found a table called TenantProductActivity as well as one called TenantOfficeLicenses.
TenantProductActivity seems to be showing only select products (like Exchange, Sharepoint, Onedrive, Teams, Yammer ... but not Project).
TenantOfficeLicenses shows the correct amount of Project Plan 3 licenses, but it doesnt provide much details as to who is consuming those licenses or when the product is actually used. It has no direct relationship to other tables except for the calendar table.
I am not very familiar with the Microsoft 365 / Azure AD infrastructure, so I was hoping somebody could point me in the right direction. Is this possible at all?
thanks everyone.
Hi @alex2811 ,
You may try to check the following table.
