Hi, can someone how to freeze the column total of the metrix vsiaul?
so there is 2 kind of sceneario im working with.....
1st the nromal metrix which auto generates the Total of column in the end...
2nd is I did manipulate the data to show the total as my first column like i did put the total as a totle in my data so that ot can add up and shows that as a first colue( as what user want)
Now the wuestion main is, as there are many column like 20-30 column are there in the matrix visual....so they need to scroll and see... so they want me to freeze the column total if that metrix so it wont get invisble.... so how can i do that?
my value and all is switched as row!
Instead of fixing the rows and columns, how about adding a matrix that only displays the total value?
that will not be dynmic or synked to main metrix as per vertical scroll
Currently, Power BI does not support freezing columns in a Matrix visual including the total column. When you have many columns and scroll horizontally, all columns (including totals) will scroll out of view.
A commonly used approach is to simulate this behavior by using two Matrix visuals:

You’re absolutely right the two-matrix approach does not support synchronized vertical scrolling and can lead to row misalignment.
Currently, Power BI does not support freezing columns or syncing scroll between visuals, so this scenario isn’t fully achievable today.
This is a known limitation and raising it in the Ideas forum would be the best path forward.

Hi! @Khushboobarai
I think it's possible with the Matrix offered by inforiver. You can check in visuals market place in desktop to find that. But it's paid visual.
Freezing columns or rows in Power BI is not possible. However, you can try below options:
1st: Highlight the total row with a different color or Keep this column value in top or bottom.
2nd: You can use default option of totals of the visual. And manipulate the calculation of totals using InScope or Selectedvalue() functions.
Freezing a row or column like in excel is not possible
