Merging .pbix files

Is it possible to merge two .pbix files into one so that one dashboard can be built?  If both .pbix files use the same data source and one developer works on a page and another works on a second page, can the two .pbix files successfully be merged so that there is one .pbix file with two pages?  I'm thinking if the two files are in Github repository, can Github merge the two files into one?

Hi @ldwf,

On my version of PowerBI Desktop there is no such choice: "Click on "Home" tab and select "Import" from the "External Data" section." 

External Data section allows for a variety of sources but there is no "Import" option, nor is there a way of opening/importing  an existing *.pbix file. 

Would greatly appreciate it, if you could provide screenshot(s) or any other pertinent info.

power bi version installed is Version: 2.121.942.0 64-bit (September 2023)
