Merge columns from two queries

Hi,

I'm in the process of converting Business Obj queries to PBI reports. In doing so, in one of the report in BusObj, there are two queries and the report uses merged dimensions (Eg: Provider Num ) which actually creates a full outer join on the field inside the report.

In PBI:

So I used direct query and generated two queries in PBI using static values on 'Provider Num'. I cannot proceed further with creating parameters on 'Provider Num' nor can I merge queries. what am I missing here ? Should there be a different approach ?

Thanks.

Load these tables as is into the Power BI semantic model. Then do the join in the data model view.
