Menu's button is not working

I'm working in a menu with buttons. I select Format -> Navigation . Then I select the dahsboard page where I want to go and when I try if it functions nothing happen.

  • If it still does not work, try testing it in Reading View or after publishing to the Power BI Service.

  • You can also try the following:

    • Remove the button and create a new one from scratch
    • Check whether another visual or transparent shape is covering the button
    • Make sure the page is not a Tooltip page
    • Try assigning Bookmark navigation instead of Page navigation to test it
    • Save, close, and reopen Microsoft Power BI Desktop
    • Update Power BI Desktop to the latest version
    • Test the same button in a completely new PBIX file

Sometimes the issue is related to a corrupted visual or page rather than the navigation settings themselves.

  • If you're in desktop or editing mode in the serivce, you must do a ctrl + click.

  • In Power BI Desktop, navigation buttons usually work with CTRL + Click while you are in edit mode. Also, make sure that Action is turned on, Page Navigation is selected, and the target page is not hidden.

      Hi Ilgar

I chequed it all. Action was turned on. Page Navigation was selected. The target page was hidden, but I changed and it is  not hidden anymore and still have the same problem. I have the maintenance of a  dashboard and it is my first in PBI. If you have any other tip to give I will appreciatte it.

      THX!!!
