Hi,
I am currently working on creating a new dashboard and it has some large files and I can save the first time. However, when I add a sharepoint data connection, which is only seven columns with a couple rows, power bi says I have run out of memory. I am confused because this file is not that large and I should not have an issue.

Please check:
1. If you are not using the latest version of the desktop, please consider installing the latest version of the desktop.
Download Microsoft Power BI Desktop from Official Microsoft Download Center
2. Could you please check whether you have opened the file using another desktop or program? For example, there are some antivirus programs that are taking over PBIX files.
3. Do you have Sensitivity enabled for the file? Please changed Sensitivity and try again.

@Anonymous , Make sure the hard disk has sufficient disk space available. Make sure power bi is able to take the RAM required 4-8 GB.
Under -> File -> options and setting -> Options -> Data load.
Increase memory management cache to 8-10 GB. Clear the previous cache
