Measure to a calculated column

Hi,

I am trying to recreate the below measure as a calculated column, so that I could have it used as a slider.

US Equity = (SUM('Portfolio Allocations'[USMV]) / SUM('Portfolio Allocations'[Value]) ) -(SUM('Portfolio Allocations'[USWEIGHT]) / 100)

I have values (USMV, Value, USWEIGHT) for each "account number" and each "day"(Date)

How do I re-write this for a calculated column?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

  • Anonymous  Did you tried this ? Calculated Columns will perform the calculations at each row level and the aggregate functions can't be used.

    US Equity = ('Portfolio Allocations'[USMV] / 'Portfolio Allocations'[Value]) - ('Portfolio Allocations'[USWEIGHT] / 100)

    Hi Anonymous ,

If I'm not mistaken, you should be able to remove the aggregation from each column, like so:

    US Equity = ('Portfolio Allocations'[USMV] / 'Portfolio Allocations'[Value] ) -('Portfolio Allocations'[USWEIGHT] / 100)

This will give you the Equity for each row in the data table.
