Measure not crossfiltering other Visuals

Hello all,    I have this very basic issue which is driving me crazy nonetheless...    Our PMO has a report covering the work package situation in our projects. There are 189 items in this projec...

HI , Anonymous 

According to your description, you want to cross-filter the table visual by your bar chart and you use a custom measure and you want to filter the table and just show which meet the overdue data.

If you need other visual filter the table visual by default just this visual need to filter the overdue data, here are the steps you can refer to :
(1)This is my test data:

(2)I create a measure like this to put in the bar chart:

Measure = CALCULATE( DISTINCTCOUNT('Table'[No]) , 'Table'[Date] > TODAY())
 
And i create this measure to judge if need to show in the table visual:
Over_analysis = IF( MAX('Table'[Date]) >TODAY() ,1,BLANK())
 
(3)We can  use the "Enter Data" to create a table just with one value:

 

Then we can put this measure on the  "Y-axis" in the bar chart:

Then we can create a measure like this:

Measure 2 = IF( ISFILTERED('Table2'[Flag]) , [Over_analysis] , 1)
 
And then we put this measure on the table visual's "Filter on this visual":

 

(4)Then we can get the result as follows.

When we select the "OverDate" bar chart :

When we select the other default bae chart :
