Measure in the filter

I am using a measure to filter under Filters pane. But the measure options (like less than, greater than) is not enabled . It does not allow me to quantify the filter condition. Can anyone advice?

check the type of the measure.  numeric will give you less than and greater than.  text just gives you contains etc
