Measure from another report

Yes, it is possible to pull values from one Power BI report into another, but not directly like linking Excel cells you can use "Power BI semantic Models" connector

Make sure both reports are in the Power BI Service and in same workspace

• Publish the dataset from Report A

• Then in Report B, instead of importing data, choose “Power BI semantic Models”

Steps to connect the semantic model:

1. In Power BI Desktop (for the detail report), choose:

   • Get Data → Power BI semantic Models

2. Select the dataset from your “Totals” report

3. Use the relevant tables/measures in your new report and no need to recreate logic.
