Measure Usability
Hi,
I am working to build an comlex Report and ended up in creating a large number of measures.
Now some of them may not be used in the report.
1) Is there any way to find out unused Measures in the Report?
Install the Dax studio software and check the usage of all the columns including measure and columns settings in view metric option in advanced settings.
if the measure are not in use, check in power bi and delete that measure which is not used as per business purpose.
Regards,
Rajendra
- Hi Anonymous ,You can try to use DAX studio.Although there will be problems between xvelocity and the query engine. However, it removes unused measure.https://www.sqlbi.com/articles/capturing-power-bi-queries-using-dax-studio/You can also try the methods mentioned in this thread:https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Desktop/Best-way-to-delete-multiple-measures-in-tables/td-p/415716Best Regards,
