Hi,
We have prepared a matrix table with 1 item on the column (row Name), 1 item on the column (Col Name) and two values (measure A & B). We would like to create a custom tooltip that displays the name of the measure when the mouse passes over the cell
That is when passing cursor over value in red
tooltip shoud diplay:
Measure A: 11
How can we retriveve in DAX the name of the measure referred in the cell and its value?
Thx

Hi @alfBI, I don't think it's possible... Both measures are evaluated in a defined filter context (i.e. row3 and col2). While hovering between values 11 and 2 the filter context of PowerBI is not changing, which means both are evaluated. You can create a tooltip to show values of both or only one, but this one should be defined in advance (always Measure A or always Measure B).
I've tried to play around with SELECTEDMEASURE() and similar functions but didn't find a way to obtain the desired result.
If you find a solution, please tag me as I'd like to learn how to do it!

i suggest creating a separate tooltip table for the tooltip and use the custom tooltip for meeting this requirement
