Can anyone assist how to change the Position of Total from Bottom to Top in Row Subtotals of matrix visualization ?

The solution is change the Layout option from Compact to Outline.

I tried this and it worked.

Once this is done and published to the report server (May 2024), the row subtotal then shows at the bottom of the matrix on the report server. However in PowerBI desktop it shows at the top, do you have a solution for this?

Hi @ashmitp869
I was also facing the same issue.
just try to off and on the Per row level option and set to ALL row level.

it enables the position option.

I hope it may help you.

Don't forget to give thumbs up and accept this as a solution if it helped you!!!

If you create a calculated column named "Total" with the value of "Total", you can then add this as the top row grouping.
