Matrix total help please.

Hi,

Power Bi newby here. I have the following matrix of data. Can anyone explain why the column totals on the side are correct but the row totals at the bottom dont sum correctly. The values in the matrix are a calculated field (a distinct count of one column of my data) but the rows and columns fields are both just data fields with no calculations.

Where does the total at the bottom come from? Why is it different?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

You chose to show a distinct count.  One CM value is present in multiple Types.

Oh thanks you! This has been bothering me for hours and I couldnt work it out. Now you have pointed it out it is so simple.  This "shouldn't" happen because the type shouldnt change between rows of data with the same invoice number (the discount count) but clearly somehow it has been adjusted. Now I have found the issue (both occurances) and can fix it.

Thanks again.
