Matrix table

Hi,

I used matrix to make this table. Then I added 2 values from my data to "rows" and then drill down and thats how I have O&G as the section and borstar as the sub.

Well for some reason O&G has the data on the rest of the fields when it shouldnt. It should only have data for the "cmputer users" section. Is there a way I can delete or hide the other bold data without messing with the rest of my data on borstar? pretty much hide or delete the bold data on the O&G row but keep what's under computer users on the same rowidk.PNG

@Anonymous on format pane, turn off row total and that will take care of it.

@parry2k Yes, but some of them need to be there. I don't want to delete all of the row totals when I need some

@Anonymous that is possible, in that case your each value field you have to put condition and return blank value where you don't want to show the total.

@parry2k How do I do this? Where? Can you walk me through this please

@Anonymous here is example of one of the measure, instead of Duration field, use following Duration Measure and you will see in case of "O&G", it will give you blank() value, and you have to create similar measure for each and every Field you are using Value pane in matrix visual.

Duration Measure =
IF( NOT SELECTEDVALUE( Table[Active Projects] ) IN { "O&G", "ABC", "XYZ" } ),
SUM( Table[Duration]
)

@parry2k It's not working, is there another way to approach this?

@Anonymous not sure what you mean by it is not working? Elaborate? If you can send sample pbix file, will help you to get the solution.

@parry2k I did the measure but it deleted the rest of them as well and I only want to delete the top one (with the yellow backgroun)UGJ.PNG

@Anonymous I know why it is happening, we have to use ISINSCOPE function as well. I would prefer if you can share pbix file (remove any sensitive information) and I can get you the solution.
