    I did some test, but unfortunately that I can't reproduce your issue.

    Given I have so little information at this time, I can't tell what's causing your problem.You can create a support ticket for free and a dedicated Microsoft engineer will come to solve the problem for you.

    It would be great if you continue to share in this issue to help others with similar problems after you know the root cause or solution.

Hi! You will have to manually expand, but you do not need to use the +/- signs. Once you have all of your rows/columns in and you want to expand it, hover on the chart and you will see these four icons appear: 

Click the fourth one (the one that looks like a hierarchy) to expand it out as many times as you need. If you save teh report with it expanded, that is how it will appear for your users in service.
